Member Care Radio, a media ministry of TransWorld Radio, focuses on providing quality care resources to cross-cultural workers in hard-to-reach places. Focuses on the stresses POMs face, the help available, and the positive actions parents can take to thrive as POMs. Features testimonies from two POM dads about the value of connecting with other POMs for encouragement, learning, and support.

NCM06-D25. "How Do I Help Them Understand? Mission Recruits Talk With Parents." Cheryl Savageau and Diane Stortz, National Missionary Convention 2006. Begins with a panel of one missionary and four recruits; only one of the five had extremely supportive parents. The panel answers questions about their situations and ways they have tried to deal with them. Diane then speaks from the parents' perspective, and Cheryl wraps all the comments together with tips for good communication.
