A Yahoo! Group for POMs
To make it easier for POMs to connect and network with one another, we're launching a new venture—a Yahoo! group called Parents_of_Cross-Cultural_Workers.
You can use the group to ask questions, post prayer requests, offer suggestions and advice to others, and locate POMs to connect with by e-mail, phone, or even in person. Please read the group description carefully when you join. We're sensitive to the need to protect identities and locations of workers in some parts of the world.
You'll need a free Yahoo! account to join. Go here to join the group:

Life Coaching for POMs
Advance Global Coaching is a new (since 2007) life-coaching service focused on the missions community—including POMs! All coaches with AGC are certified and have cross-cultural experience.
Founder and CEO Sherri Dodd is a certified Life Coach with over 25 years career missionary experience—as well as a wife, mom, and speaker. Sherri is also a POM. One of her daughters recently began her first term as a missionary in Spain.
AGC offers coaching packages for those exploring missions; for new, veteran, and returning missionaries; for missions pastors; for MKs; and for POMs. Coaching takes place via phone or Skype. The POM package helps POMs prior to and after their missionary's departure; a custom package can be created for POMs with children already on the field. POMs can choose the length of their coaching package.
Sherri's heart is to help POMs use for good the void created by their missionary's absence—for themselves, for their children, and for the Lord. For more information or to contact Sherri, visit the AGC website, http://www.AdvanceGlobalCoaching.com
