Again and again, we see missionaries hungry for their parents’ blessing on their work and parents struggling to cope with the onslaught of emotions and life changes that come with having a missionary son or daughter. Yet few resources are available to help parents of missionaries. We wrote this book to minister to hurting families left behind, to share their burden and empower them to give their blessing and fulfill their role as senders. We also want to encourage the family of God to understand how everyone benefits when the families of missionaries are helped to stay strong and connected even when they are separated for the cause of world missions.
